Sagamore Ready Mix created its first Safety Team in December of 2015.
The Safety Team consists of members from every department and plant within the company as well as the Safety Manager and the company’s owners. After the initial team was selected, new or replacement members are then selected and voted on by the plant or department members to serve a two (2) year term.
All major incidents and injuries are reviewed by the Safety Team, which recommends corrective actions, policy or procedure changes.
